Hand painted Brown, Orange and burgundy Batik Silk Scarf

We had a lot of fun with this number. We chose to include not one, but two patterns The mid section features ample stokes and squiggles built layer by layer of dye and hot wax.

Don't you just love when you get new things! The clean, the softness and most importantly the glow are all things I look forward to when I make a new purchase. Here are all the secrets to keeping your new scarf in that condition. 

Step 1
Handwash in cold water with a mild soap (please do not soak the scarf).

Step 2
Pat dry with a fluffy bath towel, and hang straight to dry.

Step 3

Iron on a low heat setting while scarf is damp, under a cotton cloth.

Careful!

If ironing scarf with metallic gutta, flip the scarf over so that the gutta does not face up under the cloth, then iron.
